I posted this on Facebook a few days ago and it sparked a huge response – and I didn’t want you to miss it. I’d love to know what you think …
Last night I was having dinner with a group of people here in Ibiza and one of the guests, Martin, was explaining how easy it is to spend €100,000 a DAY here – €50,000 to buy a table at Amnesia (biggest club here).
I was truly shocked and curious:
“Are these people happy?’ I asked
He paused: ‘No, hardly any of them.’
Today I went into the Vodaphone shop and was served by Hector.
Hector had left Cuba with his girlfriend and mother. His girlfriend had been a Doctor in Cuba and is now struggling to save the €1800 it will take to get approved to work here.
‘Are you happy?’ I asked
‘Of course! I can do anything I want with my life now.’
Doesn’t it just show how important attitude is? Do you agree? X
