Side Hustle
Long before we talked about having a ‘side hustle’, my Mum had a side hustle.
She worked as a Nursing Auxiliary in Craigavon hospital four nights a week and was an Avon lady during the day, selling lipsticks, eye shadow and bubble bath to the neighbours. Before that it was Tupperware and Sarah Coventry jewelry.
Mum liked having her own money and making her own money.
It paid for the extras and a holiday to Trinidad to see her sister whose husband was working there – see the photo! ☺
I’m the same. Maybe you are too?
When my son was born I knew that I’d be the main breadwinner and I quite liked the challenge.
I was able to pay for a dyslexic school that was £7,200 a term and buy my Mum a bungalow!
I believe everyone needs a side hustle right now. Not just because of all the recession talk and unemployment figures but because it’s good to know that you have talents and skills that you can put to good use and get paid for.
Humans are really good at over complicating things.
I don’t know what it is, but, especially in our modern world, we love to make things harder than they should be.
I think part of it is because we’re so inundated with information overload.
Do you ever feel that way?
I help speakers, coaches, business owners, leaders and authors make a massive impact and an income from their message.
For some, it’s a side hustle and for others it’s full-time.
I believe that helping you share your message changes the world. And I’m clear on the steps that are needed to make that happen. That’s how I teach.
That’s why I’m so excited to be putting together a brand new resource to help you make money (or more money) from your business.
Simple, no-fluff strategies that work.
Everything is designed to give you step by step direction so you get the result you want.
I’ll be offering it next week – Email me if you’re keen! Type with KEEN or MADLY KEEN in the subject line and watch this space!
