How will you pay for Christmas?

Polls and Quizzes | Previous Polls

Poll start date: November 19th 2003

Are you a borrower or a budgeter?

This Christmas Britons will spend a record 9.2 billion on credit cards - will you be contributing to that total?

What Do You Think?
How will you pay for Christmas this year?
I have budgeted for it - I already have a Christmas fund
I am pretty sure I can cover it from my normal income
I will borrow from a bank or similar and pay it back in the new year
I will resort to credit cards, no other option
I don't celebrate Christmas

My approach is a sort of middle way - I pay what I can from December's income and stick the rest on cards. Then I more or less hibernate in January (no going out, no shopping, cheap food!!) so that I can pay the cards off from January's income. That has worked for me so far.
