As the Director of 21st Century Woman......I think we all know the answer don't we? Or do we?
Who? When? Where? and How? Still pre-dominate - as does the mindset of the individual concerned. A woman caring for someone with dementia whilst trying to build 2 businesses and going door to door selling charity tickets is not something that everyone does. But everyone is not this woman. Women are geared for multi-tasking. Multi-tasking, by its very nature can frequently lead to stress. On the other hand we read of men who do the most amazing time juggling things. Surely it all depends on the demands and circumstances as they relate to each individual and then , off course there are the values of each individual.
I remember going on a half day course some years ago, making `crafty-type' cards, it was horrendously stressful. Most of the others found it very de-stressing but because doing something `crafty' was not essential to anyone's happiness I found it stressful. Perhaps it is because we are such complex folk - it helps to have a coach and yes I do have one.......she's the best!!
