There's a Fred Astaire number that starts:
If you feel as swell as the bottom of a well
And can't get into the mood
Do something to pick yourself up
And change your attitude
Fred goes on to advocate that a shine on your shoes will solve all your problems. This may revolutionise life for the world's greatest tap dancer but not for anyone else. If you are seeking long-term change, you need Fiona Harrold.
I was referred to Fiona by someone who felt her life had been transformed by life coaching. Fiona helped her to balance and enjoy both her high-powered career and family commitments. Previously she had felt stressed and guilty that she was short-changing both her children and her employers. Now both she, her colleagues and her family are benefiting from her relaxed, positive outlook.
My concerns were different. My life was puttering into a comfortable dead end. I no longer had a nine-to-five job and, with children at school, I needed to find a new direction. I was so out of touch with the working world, I felt too frightened of failure to push myself back in. Fiona restored my self-confidence and awakened my drive to succeed as a writer. She found me a number of contacts in the literary world and suggested exercise classes that would make me look and feel like the positive individual I am striving to become.
Eight weeks down the line, I do feel that each day is an opportunity rather than a chore. I know my new exercise regime is succeeding because many people have commented on how much better I look. I am working away on my book and when I get published (which Fiona assures me I will) my transformation from a slob to a superstar will be complete.
I would recommend Fiona to anyone seeking help to change the course of their life. My confidence in her is based on the difference she has made to someone else's life as well as my own. She is intuitive, intelligent and positive. Without her support, I dread to think what I would have become.
