Success Group Stories

Zarene is a recent Success Group ‘graduate’ who then worked with me personally. Zarene’s challenge was to hold the lofty goals out in front, have faith, and take action.

It’s a winning formula! She’s now on track to follow her dream of being one of the few people in the UK to work in the new field of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Here’s what she had to say:

horses"After signing up for some coaching sessions with you I marvel at the breakthrough I have had and the continuous little miracles that are taking place.

Last weekend whilst at an 'Invisible Horsemanship' weekend I met a therapist who was working for the Priory when I first met him.

New Direction

He informed me that he had left the Priory and was now looking for a horse professional to work with at another private hospital so he could continue the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy work.

'Equine Assisted Psychotherapy' (EAP) incorporates horses experientially for emotional growth and learning. It is a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with the clients and horses to address treatment goals.

If I had not signed up for the course I would never have believed that people would have left the Priory as I labelled it a job for a 'life time' where no-one leaves…

I look forward to charging ahead in action as a freelance horse professional with a lifetime of horse experience already behind me. You have reminded me that miracles are possible and that people do leave jobs.

Thank you kindly for encouraging me to have faith and to go forward with action."

Claire's Story

Claire was in that same Success Group:

"The Success Group gave me the confidence to go out and get what I wanted, to really believe that I have the strength within myself to achieve my goals and indeed it is already happening.

My goals were to be a full time artist and find myself a man! I'm not quite full time in my art yet but have reduced my working days and have had some amazing exhibition opportunities come my way. Going full time seems a reality now, that I am committed to it happening.  And I have met a truly wonderful man!

It was also inspirational to watch other people in the group progress and grow over the sessions and achieve break throughs.  I currently have a solo show of my work in the shop Liberty.

The show in the 4th floor in the furniture department. Check out www.liberty.co.uk for further details of the shop opening times, the show will be on through out August. Do pop along and have a look!"

Sue's Story

discoAnd, Sue was at another Saturday morning Success Group, and is working on being a full-time DJ!

"I'm pleased to report that things are going from strength to strength on the DJing front - I did my usual Friday night at The Enterprise in Camden last week, and the crowd went absolutely crazy!

They were dancing on the tables, the chairs, the stools and even on the bar and couldn't get enough of what I was playing - it was almost unbelievable.

The last three records I played, 'Shout' by the Isley Brothers, 'Do you love me' by the Contours and 'She's not there' by the Zombies almost brought the house down - literally: one of the tables gave way at the last minute but luckily no one was hurt! The manager there is talking about me playing fortnightly.

Life's Passion

Once again, I'm very grateful to you and to some of my fellow Success Group members for all the enthusiasm and encouragement. I'm pursuing other work as I still have to pay the bills and the DJing isn't paying a lot at the moment, although hopefully that will change soon.

But you are right, this is my life's passion and I really am going for it now."
