Abi's Story

Hi!

I just wanted to tell you how amazing I thought your book was - I've finished the script but am half-way through the course exercises. I don't think I've felt as inspired and energised to change my life as I do right now; I found your book at just the right time for me.

My life has reached a real crossroads and so far I'd just been enjoying the scenery - now I've given up smoking and drinking, started applying for jobs which pay more than the minimum wage, taken up yoga (even though I can't get to a class, my previous excuse) and see the future as something exciting. I have a long way to go; I've been unassertive and unself-reliant for such a time that habits are difficult to break.

However its been extremely liberating to approve of myself, and spend more time consulting with myself than others - I had always looked to friends / parents / my partner for support and approval, and changed or waivered on many plans because their input was not positive. I'm beginning to realise I know what is best for me! I have also felt constantly tired, and have suffered from depression, and suddenly I find myself with the kind of energy I remember having when I was ten and life was magic. I think this is the greatest gift, and wanted to thank you for helping me find this for myself. THANK YOU!

I hope you're having the kind of days I'm having.

Yours sincerely,

Abi Marks
