It’s a special time of the year. It’s the Season of goodwill– but nothing happens without a plan – so…
here’s the plan –
Starting today and over the next 11 days, you carry out a random act of kindness and if you’d like to, share on my facebook page.
I’ll send you a daily reminder and a sprinkling of inspiration.
Our Day 1 inspiration is from wonderful Dr Wayne Dyer, who famously said, If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
Day 1 Suggestion:
Send peace to someone. See them in your mind’s eye and surround them in a bubble of golden light. It need take less than a minute. You can start with the person stacking the shelves in the supermarket or a waitress in a busy restaurant or a delivery driver.
Here’s the thing about kindness. Serotonin levels rise in the receiver. But they also rise in the giver. And, in those who witness acts of kindness.
That’s crazy and a lot cheaper than Prozac!
Let’s do this!
PS. You’ll start to see people change as you change the way you look at them. I was irritated with a waitress in my local coffee shop for being unfriendly. I sent her peace and the next day, she made a point of smiling and waving as I left.
