The Real You
Tuesday, May 23 2006Dear friend,
it's not unusual for me to be confronted by a new client confessing that he or she is not really the person they appear to be.
When I enquire as to who they think they might be, they either blurt out a clear description or a more vague lament for the spirit of the person they once were.
And living in our age of reinvention, what they were all really yearning for was to reclaim their real self, before overwork, schooling, conditioning and resignation got in the way. They longed to become the person they felt they were born to be, that they really were, underneath it all.
One person who has successfully reclaimed her real self is fashion designer, Jane Farwell.
Jane wrote to me last week to tell me about the launch of her new fashion company, think! clothing - fabulous designs that don't come from a third world sweat shop - a dream come true for Jane and a brilliant inspiration for us all.
Read her story here, and check out her slick designs, which you can buy with a 10% discount.
Congratulations Jane. Respect!
I'm looking forward to meeting many of you tomorrow at my workshop at the mind body spirit festival. Feel free to email me a few words of what you'd like to get out of the workshop, fiona@fionaharrold.com.
