Make Money, Be Happy
Thursday, February 23 2006
Dear friend,
I'd like to introduce you to one of the smartest people I've ever met. She is the wonderful Carmel McConnell, corporate high-flier, best-selling author and founder of The Magic Breakfast – the Guardian's Charity of the Year.
You'll find her in The 7 Rules of Success in the chapter, Inspire Others. Carmel is a can-do person for whom nothing – and I mean nothing – is impossible.
I love her book, Make Money, Be Happy, where she convinces you that it is entirely possible to have a career that you love and make money. In fact, she emphasises that you are far more likely to make money in a career that makes you happy.
I've asked her to join my site as my way of supporting her brilliant charity -which provides breakfast for inner city school children, and she is available for hire, for talks, workshops and seminars. Hiring her allows her to devote her time to the growth of The Magic Breakfast.
Carmel has come up with a brilliant guide for us to Make Money and Be Happy, so read on and learn!
The 7 Rules Workshop
Thank you so much to everyone who came to Saturday's workshop. It was a fabulous day and the beginning of many new projects and plans. Thank you in particular to everyone who talked of their situations so honestly. You know who you are – thanks a million! We'll plan another workshop soon.
