Happy Christmas To YOU

Thursday, December 21 2006

It's that time of year again – time to take stock and weigh up what you've been up to over the year. In the midst of all the busyness, why not take a little time out to have a quiet chat with yourself?

GRAPHICOver the next week or two, make a date to take yourself out to breakfast, lunch or dinner - just you. This is something I and all my clients will be doing, and I invite you to do the same.

Take a pen and A4 pad with you, and over a leisurely meal, discuss the following:

  • Achievements I'm delighted with from the past year
  • Difficulties I've faced
  • Lessons to be learnt
  • What would be fabulous to create over the next year
  • Where I'd like to be, in my life, this time next year

Under these headings, list at least five answers. Relax as the insights and answers flow. Raise a toast to you, as you appreciate yourself and cheer yourself on to the next stage.

I would like to toast your appetite for life: your courage, your decency and your generosity.

The reason I can assume you deserve such an accolade is that I have met many of you over the past year in my new Success Groups, book signings and talks up and down the country, and you are a pretty fine bunch!

Additionally, as a member of this site, you are automatically subscribing to the values of personal responsibility for your own happiness; making the most of yourself and challenging yourself in the process.

If you've sat in a Success Group or visited the Conversation Board, you'll know what I mean - wonderful people, uplifting stories and inspiring achievements and challenges: generous, dynamic people all committed to making their life work, for their own good and the good of all.

What's not to like!

Do yourself a favour. Pat yourself on the back. Celebrate your Wonderful Self, before you get busy putting yourself to work on the next twelve months. In my next missive, I'll support you to think through your plans for a brilliant 2007.

In the meantime, bookings are open for the next Success Group, beginning Saturday Jan 27th. It's two hours once a month to focus on your wonderful self creating a wonderful life.

We've also created an additional service for Success Group members where they can meet here on the site in between meetings, advertise their services, give and receive support and maintain the connection during the month. If you're currently in a group, I'll be emailing you with details of this shortly.

And I'd just like to add, many thanks to everyone who has bought my new DVD and emailed me their best wishes.
