Find Time For Family

Wednesday, April 19 2006

Dear friend,

I hope this finds you relaxed and rested after the Easter break. If you're feeling utter dismay at the prospect of picking up your normal routine, and struggling to fit work, family time and leisure activities into an increasingly pressured life, you are not alone.

Working mumWith the demands placed on us by long working hours, finding time for family life can be difficult, yet keeping our relationship with our loved ones strong benefits our physical health as well as our sense of wellbeing.

A study by the University of Toronto last year found that even workers with stressful jobs experienced a healthy drop in blood pressure when they received support from their families, while those who did not get this support saw their blood pressure rise.

So it's clear that keeping family bonds and relationships strong has measurable benefits, and this week I've asked our Time Management expert Francine Kaye to step up and coach us on keeping family time alive.

Francine is offering a limited number of discounted Time Audit sessions, which are 3 x 40 minute, one-to-one sessions, conducted with the aim of putting you back in control of your time, and your life. If you'd like to find out more about how these can help you, just drop Francine a line - francine@fionaharrold.com.

And she is running her Time To Live workshop in London, with a new date now booking for Saturday June 3rd - you can see more details about the workshop below, or online here.
