Are You Inspiring?

Tuesday, June 13 2006

Are you inspiring? Do you uplift and encourage others? Do people turn to you when they need a boost? If so, you're probably coaching. If not, read on anyway and I'll give you some tips to inspire you – to be inspiring!

InspiredI'm thinking about this because many of you have asked whether you could come to my Coach's Masterclass on July 1st, if you aren't formal coaches.

The answer is yes! I believe smart people are probably coaching a great deal of the time, formally or informally. By this I mean listening well, asking good questions, offering insightful observations, astute feedback and – above all – inspiration.

If you would like to fine-tune those skills to use in your coaching practice, or in your workplace, or with your children (very useful!) and just to be an all-round smarter, more effective person, please come along on July 1st. Email me a few words on what you'd like to get out of the workshop - fiona@fionaharrold.com - I'm keeping the group small, so do enrol straightaway to guarantee your place.

One way of inspiring others that really works, is using the example of another person's journey to success. Our wonderful competition winner, Liz Christison, who won 4 coaching sessions with me, is half-way through and doing brilliantly.

In a nutshell, she is prising herself out of a rut, thinking much bigger than ever, selling her home, changing jobs, planning to earn more money, losing weight - and feeling more excited about life than she has done in a long time. Read our blog here.

I also have two brilliant Success Stories for you as well. These are recent clients of mine who are members of the site here. They have changed their names to protect their identity, but everything else is unchanged.

Sophie, 28, has radically changed her life – and outlook – in just one month and is planning to leave the bright lights of Britain for the sunny shores of New Zealand or Vancouver. Onwards Sophie!

Chloe, 57, has shaken her life up in a few short weeks, and although she's not leaving our shores, there's still a lot of change going on, including a whole new career.

You can read their stories online here.
