Less Is More

Tuesday, May 9 2006

Dear friend,

the good old British weather may be unpredictable but it's Spring nonetheless. And therefore, we're throwing open the windows, letting in the fresh air and getting ready for summer.

Shopping!Last week we talked of clearing out the old to make way for the new, when I introduced you to our new Organisation Coach, Chandra Nova.

This week, Chandra is focusing on staying in control of your purchases, so there is simply less "stuff" to tidy, file and organise in the first place. Her message today is to think carefully about what you bring into your home, so that you become more of a connoisseur and less of a consumer.

As William Morris, founder of the Arts & Crafts movement, put it, "Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful." In other words, think before you buy!

Cluttered living does seem to preclude getting organised and being effective in any other area, and the interest in and feedback from Chandra's new course Your Organised Home has been amazing.

With that in mind, Chandra is extending the offer of a reduced-price, three-hour Get Organised session and if you book before Tuesday 16th May, she'll schedule in your session for the reduced price of £100. Give her a bell on 020 8446 7822 or drop her a line to chandra@fionaharrold.com.

If you'd like to discover how this can work for you, you can check out Module 1 of Your Organised Home completely free online by clicking here.
