The Power Of Your Thoughts
Wednesday, November 8 2006"Those who cannot change their minds, cannot change anything."
I believe George Bernard Shaw understood a fundamental metaphysical rule when he said this – your thoughts create your reality. In my recent Success Groups, I have invited members to experiment with this concept.
This is beyond positive thinking. This is grasping that we attract what we focus on: what we expect: what we feel we deserve. This is about manifesting your desires elegantly, with the least possible fuss or drama.
This is about removing the mental limitations that you place on yourself - limitations that may say, there's a time-honoured way of doing things, or that may say life is a struggle, and hard work is the one and only way to get what you want. All of these are true. If you believe them.
In one of the Groups, I invited members to identify a "miracle" - something out of the ordinary, wonderful and unexpected.
I did this to expand our minds about what we "know" to be possible, to stretch our concept of "reality," to allow for the possibility of something fabulous! The novelist John Updike put it well when he said:
"Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them."
The moment we grasp that our life is down to our beliefs, we have more power at our disposal to create our ideal life. It may sound like a revolutionary way to think about life, but, what have you got to lose? Give it a try! It's much easier and more effective to do this with some collective support, so do join my next Success Group if this appeals to you.
I have one starting on Thursday evening, 23 November. As soon as you've registered, email me a succinct description of what you'd like to get out of the group. I also have two spaces for personal clients at the moment. Email me, fiona@fionaharrold.com.
Rita Hamill is our wonderful Performance Coach – when she's not filming or performing on the London stage as a wonderful actress! She's been assisting at the Success Groups, and you can read about her leap of faith, where she discovered the power of applied focus, online here.
