Have a Great Attitude
Tuesday, March 22 2005
I hope this finds you well. As a lifelong peoplewatcher, I have heard many stories from many people, all over the world about their life, the dramas, the highs and lows. My Dad was a travelling salesman in Northern Ireland and I used to join him on his travels in my school holidays. We loved nothing more than to pick up unsuspecting hitchhikers and hear their life stories and views on life. We would put them at ease, offer them a coffee from our flask and sit back and listen. Once we’d dropped them off, we’d discuss – their attitude!
The one thing I saw then, nearly thirty years ago, was that the person’s attitude really did shape their life. It wasn’t what happened to them, but their attitude to it that was the important thing. I see the same thing today. People make their lives easy or difficult, dull or exciting, full of possibilities or none at all - by their attitude.
Ensure your Attitude is as great as it needs to be at our next Believe & Conquer workshop on April 2nd - click here to get yourself one of the last few places on that workshop.
Our wonderful coach, Francine Kaye, has gone through her own attitude epiphany over the past few weeks. Stepping out of her comfort zone to realise her dream of owning a home by the sea (the Mediterranean!), tested her upbeat attitude to the limit and she found herself working overtime to maintain the right attitude, without floundering and giving up on the dream. She shares her experience with us here, with a 5 Step Plan to keep a check on our own attitude. Over to Francine:
