Vision To Action
Monday, May 16 2005Dear friend,
I hope this finds you well. Last week we talked about building your business and this week I want to tell you about Vision to Action, our brilliant new programme that we use with businesses and teams of all sizes.
Our programme addresses what is undoubtedly the Holy Grail of every workplace and organisation - how to create a motivated team of people, committed to and working towards a shared vision of success and achievement. Thinking about it, this is also what governments try to achieve with entire countries. What a shame they rarely succeed, apart from Winston Churchill sixty years ago, when we had a common enemy and noble purpose. As John Kennedy said, "Divided, there is little we can do. Together, there is little we cannot do."
I often see organisations with a lofty sounding mission statement that just doesn't travel beyond the boardroom, that doesn't materialise into motivation or action. But it's crucial to go beyond words and make your visions become your reality, and this is exactly what we achieve with our Vision to Action work, ensuring that every individual feels personally connected to a common goal and shared purpose.
Francine Kaye, who specializes in coaching based on values, heads up this Programme for us and recently worked with a small award-winning marketing consultancy. Barbara Stopher, MD of The Bottom Line Consultancy was delighted with the results and you can read her comments below. If you’d like to discuss how we can support your team and business, get in touch with me at fiona@fionaharrold.com or francine@fionaharrold.com.
I've asked Francine to expand on the importance of having a vision that translates into action in the workplace.
