The Power Of Coaching

Tuesday, October 11 2005

Dear friend,

last week we had a massive response to our Newsletter and complementary coaching offer. You may have been one of the lucky ones to receive a free 30 minute session with one of my coaches or you may already know the power of coaching from your own experience.

GRAPHICThis week I thought it would be useful to provide you with a few real-life coaching stories, so below you'll hear about the experience of Kath, Nicolene and Linda who came to coaching with very different goals.

Kath worked with Emma Ford, our Image expert, to increase her career confidence through looking more professional at work: Nicolene turned to career expert Sue Clarke, to help resuscitate her musical ambitions, shelved until her youngest child started school and Linda worked with Francine Kaye, communications maestro to transform her relationship with her mother – and others.

I hope you'll find their stories useful for yourself, whatever your own personal circumstances. We all have dreams and ambitions to fine-tune and improve our lives or perhaps even change them completely and no other generation has had the freedom and opportunity that we have to make life work to our own individual design.

GRAPHICBut here's the rub – unlimited choice and endless possibilities can also feel overwhelming.

The beauty and the challenge of modern life is to grasp the opportunity of freedom to make life really work for you, so you're living the best life for you. Figuring out what you really want, making full use of your talents and abilities, pushing yourself to fulfil your fullest potential, taking responsibility for making your life work – this is what brings people to coaching.

And the freedom and complexity of contemporary life is what has made coaching so relevant now, rather than at any other time in history.

If any of this resonates with you, speak to one of my team, try an online course and if you’d like to spend a day with me reinventing your life, then you’re very welcome! I’ll be running a workshop in London on 10th December for Alternatives, so see you there!
