Keeping motivated; motivating others

Answer by Mike Blissett

Teni asks:

My query is about Keeping motivated while keeping others motivated whose involvement I need for reaching my desires.

It's naturally not very frequent that one's intentions are on the same track as those of others you need and some people may even be hostile.

1.How can one understand what would keep oneself and others motivated?

2.Especially intelligent people want neither to reveal nor have their buttons pushed for motivation, but how else can one keep such a relationship going?

3.Some believe that at the end of the day relationships are power games. What do you think?

Mike says:

Thanks for such a deep and philosophical question.

Motivation is not about trying to making yourself or others do or be something. Motivation is the energy you feel when you have a basic, honest desire within. It is your truth.

I cannot make anyone want to coach or achieve anything, they have to want it first, you cannot make anyone have motivation. To try and make someone feel this would be like making the World spin in the opposite direction. I believe we can, however lead by example, and it is by demonstrating that example that others can by inspired to align with us in their own motivation.

I have always found truly intelligent people to be absolutely generous and giving, it's the one's who would have you believe in their so called intelligence you have to be careful of!

Seriously, though you can never live for another person. You can influence by your action, lead by example, and give unconditionally.

Wishing you all the very best.
