Weight Loss For Life
As a nutritional therapist, I come across many people who want to lose weight, and who assume that in order to do so, they must go on a diet. The very word conjures up images of deprivation and a rigid regime, which makes eating out difficult and poses food as the enemy.
I prefer to take a different approach, based on eating for health rather than weight loss, and this is the basis of my new online course, Weight Loss For Life.
In the course, I explain why fad diets don’t work, how unhealthy they are, and why a more long term approach is needed. You’ll learn the principles of healthy nutrition, and how to put it into practice. There are menu tips and suggestions, and ideas for what to eat when you’re in restaurants.
We’ll explore how important it is to build regular exercise into your new healthy approach to weight loss, and how valuable it is in effecting permanent change in your weight.
I know that some people find it harder than others to lose weight, and we’ll look at why this might be, and what you can do about it. We’ll also examine the importance of motivation, setting goals for yourself and rewarding yourself as you lose the weight.
