Five Top Tips To Be More Inspiring

1. Inspire Yourself

Be Your Own Coach by talking yourself up and inspiring yourself. We all have our dull days, but you cannot inspire others by being a dull person.

2. Think Big

You are of limited value to people if your imagination and horizons are small.

Train yourself to see options, explore possibilities, spot solutions, and pinpoint opportunities where others only see setbacks and problems.

3. Show Faith

The greatest gift you can offer someone when you're coaching them – formally or informally – is to genuinely believe in their tremendous potential. Hold out high expectations for them to fulfil.

Centred4. Inspire By Example

Work to perfect your own life. Iron out any major creases, remove any long-standing conflict and make your situation as seamless as possible.

5. Listen Well

When you really listen, people feel "heard" and understood. They get to discharge and are in a better position to move on.

Ten minutes of quality listening is worth an hour of "conversational" listening (I'll explain "conversational" at my workshop!)
