Give yourself permission to stoke up the fire of your desire. You can get focus on the practicalities later and you’ll spend half your time at my new Money-Spinner workshop planning and dealing with the details, but for now, you should dream a little. Work on your motivation ­ get excited – otherwise, you won’t even get started.

To convince you that it really is possible to come up with a money-making Money-Spinner look at one woman who has achieved setting up a business based on her skills and talents.

Claire came to me two years ago following a traumatic family bereavement. As the sole parent of her two young children, she was keen to move on from the demanding management consultancy that she had set up. I encouraged Claire to see how exceptional she was in being female and financially-savvy.
