Module 4: Conscious creating
By the end of this module, I want you to be aware of not only who and what affects you, but how you too can affect your own feelings. Through the process of your own personal empowerment, the expression of gratitude for all that you experience, and the disregarding of your old self-limiting beliefs, you will become consciously aware and, in so doing, aid in the manifestation of your own amazing life experience.
What is state?
Have you ever heard someone being described as having a magnetic personality? Are there people you like being around because they always make you feel happy and upbeat? What makes them so? Well, these people are simply connecting their emotions, which are clearly ‘high energy’ and positive, to their state, and in doing so they draw more of these feelings to themselves. Alternatively, spend any time with a person operating in a low-energy state, i.e. linked to poor emotions such as feeling unhappy or uncomfortable, and you will either end up feeling down-cast yourself or you will quickly start planning your exit. For example, imagine visiting a supposed self-esteem coach who can’t make eye contact with you and constantly apologises for their mistakes – would you be drawn back for a second visit? I think not.
Your state is effectively your mindset, i.e. how you view each and every experience you have, and it is important that you manage this carefully. Change your mindset and you can change your emotions, i.e. how you feel, thus, allowing you to view any situation, positive or negative, through new eyes. You will find that there is nothing more effective for speeding up the process of alignment with the Universe and the manifestation of your desires, than being in the right state of mind.
Ultimately, your state or mindset influences your actions and your actions will determine the life that you create for yourself.
Changing your state creates attraction
When Terry, a client with low self esteem, approached me for help with confidence building, I could hear his state / mindset when I spoke to him on the phone. I arranged a time and place for us to meet and, sure enough, I spotted him straight away. His head was down, his eyes were to the floor, and his shoulders were drooped – the perfect physical representation of his state of mind.
However, when I started asking questions about the things Terry loved in his life, a remarkable change happened. He looked up, his eyes sparkled, and he became animated – I could feel his excitement about these different aspects of his life! It transpired that Terry had been forced into his current job by guilt and family pressure, and was working for a difficult boss. Over time, he had totally lost all confidence in himself and his abilities. We worked together on aligning his true values and helping him to focus his thoughts on what he loved to do (he was a seriously gifted graphic artist).
Within 6 weeks, Terry was walking with an air of confidence and was smiling more. He opened up and the outpouring of ideas was amazing. One morning Terry rang me to let me know that he had handed in his notice at his old job. He had been sending out his artwork to magazines (which he would never have dreamt of doing before) and had been offered a position at a major Science Fiction publishers. In short, Terry had turned his whole life around in a matter of weeks, simply by changing his thoughts and changing his state.
Adding emotion to positive thinking
As you can see from Terry’s experience in Part 1 of this module, achieving the right state is vital for operating effectively within the Law of Attraction. However, you simply cannot be in a powerful state if your thoughts and emotions are those of fear or doubt. By checking your EPS Scale, as described in Module 1, and aiming for small improvements in your emotions at first, you will gradually move yourself into a more positive state and begin to attract more positive energies.
I cannot emphasise enough the impact our emotions have on our ability to create our own reality, which is why this topic appears as a common thread throughout the different modules of this course.
In addition, the more you appreciate and express gratitude for all that you experience in your life, the more you will raise your emotional vibration. By doing so, not only are you gaining clarity in your thought process, but you are also naturally raising your positive energies, thus, creating a magnetic state whereby more positive energy is attracted to you. Remember those people with the ‘magnetic personalities’?
In creating this emotional energy and by adding to your positive energy, you generate a complete alignment of your energies to those of the Universal Source, and once you are vibrating at the same frequency as the Universe…manifestation has to occur. You will soon start to recognise easily how to bring mind, body and spirit into harmony, thus, attracting faster manifestation of your goals. It’s similar to buying a new TV – until you tune into the right channels, all you get is static.
You now understand that effectively ‘you are what you think about’, and this is influenced by and also influences your feelings and your state. It, therefore, follows that whatever you are currently experiencing is the result of thoughts / feelings you have already had…interesting?
Everything that is present in your life today, good or bad, you have attracted through your thoughts, which leads to the question…“Why would I attract bad experiences into my life?” Well, as you will have seen in previous modules, repeatedly focusing on what is bad or missing from your life, e.g. friends, love, money…, only brings you more of ‘missing’ these things. With this in mind, what will you be attracting from now onwards?
Allowing through action
In order for you to allow (one of the three key elements for implementing the Law of Attraction – described in Module 1) all the good things that you desire to manifest in your life using your new-found abilities to consciously create, it’s helpful to do some physical activities.
Start by making a vision board / gratitude wall and focus on it daily.
• Find pictures of all those wonderful things that you want or are grateful for in your life right now, e.g. the house, the car…don’t just look for something a little better than you already have – go BIG, go for your ultimate dream
• Decide how much money you want to earn each month and then find pictures of all the things this income will buy you – the clothes, the good food, the holidays…
In reality, you are creating a this is my life now board, as you will be focusing on this every day until it becomes second nature for you to believe that you DO truly have it all.
Create some personal affirmations.
• Come up with simple sentence or phrases in the now that you can repeat over and over again to affirm your new thoughts
• If you are looking for good health, you could say “My body now restores itself to perfect health”
• If it’s more money that you want, then state that “Money now flows to me easily and effortlessly”
You are creating new pathways in your brain with each repeated thought, until you accept that these are facts not just dreams.
Why de-clutter?
Creating your reality calls not only for clear and focused thought, but also for the effortless flow of energy throughout your daily life. Few people focus on managing their entire energy flow.
As you are becoming aware, everything is energy. All things vibrate at a certain frequency and the work you do to create clear channels in your mind and body should also apply to your day-to-day living.
You may have already heard of the 3,000 year-old Eastern philosophy of Feng Shui, which is the science of balancing energies around any given space based on the earth’s vibrating energy or Chi. The upward-moving energy or Sheng Chi is positive energy and creates good luck.
Translating this according to the Law of Attraction, you can create powerful energy channels not only through your physical and energy being, but also through your environment. Thus, as you aid the flow of energy through every aspect of your life, you improve the efficiency of your own alignment with the Universal Source of Energy.
De-clutter your mind
Holding onto restrictive, self-limiting thought patterns from the past will only produce more of the same in your present. It is important to release old habits, beliefs and limitations and to create a new, clear space in your mind for your conscious thoughts in the NOW.
Use your meditation skills to start the process of quietening your mind. This process allows you to sift through and prioritise your positive / negative thoughts and beliefs and to release all unproductive elements.
De-clutter your environment
In allowing your personal environment to become, and remain, cluttered you create low, stagnant, dense and draining energy. This can then cause a blockage in the positive energy flowing to you from the Universal Source, it can draw negative influences to you, and can also stop the manifestation of your desires.
Once you take the time to clear the clutter from your personal environment, you will create a flow of high-level energy, clarity of mind and body, and a heightened sense of well being. You will also make room for the ‘new’ to enter your life, be that in the form of people, possessions or experiences.
The initial process can be daunting, i.e. you may perhaps decide to let go of personal objects or memorabilia, but try and view it as clearing the pathway to your new life…the new you.
The main areas to concentrate on are:
• Bedroom:
– Focus on making sure under your bed is clear and clean, around the walls of the room are free from objects, and that cupboards are clean, i.e. filled only to shelf level and not crammed to the doors
– Mirrors should be moved if they face towards the bed
– If you have a TV/HI-FI in the room, make sure it is always unplugged after use and especially before you go to sleep
• Kitchen:
– Keep all areas / surfaces clean and clear
– Clear out drawers
– Put all pots, pans, cups and jars away
– Clean and clear the fridge and cooker
– Whenever possible have a window open
• Front entrance:
– This is a focal point of energy and needs to be kept clear and pleasing to the eye
– Move recycling bins, dustbins, broken pots etc out of sight
– Have only seasonal items of clothing hanging up
– Remove all junk mail and newspapers
– Add plants or flowers for beauty each time you come in and out
Reading the signs
In your ongoing study of the Law of Attraction, looking for signs or coincidence is key, not only for providing evidence of the amazing power of the Universe and boosting your confidence, but also for knowing that you are heading in the right direction.
Even though all the thought processes can be there, e.g. the positive thinking, the right mindset, the gratitude and appreciation, unless you can read the signs along the way, you may miss vital opportunities for bringing your desires into reality.
Once a thought / desire is released and the physical manifestation is set on the attraction path, it can present itself in a variety of different ways. It is then entirely up to you to identify the signs and to act accordingly. You should be guided by your intuition. In fact, it is part of your development process to increase your awareness of this intuition so that you can recognise when the Universe is responding to your thought vibrations through coincidence.
To give you a great example, a client of mine, Ami, was organising her wedding and had a very specific theme in mind. Her bridal bouquet could only contain a certain flower and she was having trouble finding a supplier. One day, while driving through a nearby town, she spotted a new flower shop and felt compelled to go in. Ami acted on her intuition and, on entering the shop, heard a song on the radio that was one of her and her fiancée’s ‘songs’ from when they first became engaged. This made her feel more certain her impulse was correct. As she waited for the assistant at the counter, her eyes were drawn to the shop’s business card, and what should be on there but a picture of Ami’s flower, even down to the exact colour.
When Ami spoke with the assistant she discovered that, sure enough, they regularly stocked her flower and would be more than happy to make up the bouquet. Ami followed her intuition by spotting the coincidence with the new flower shop and by recognising the synchronicity with the music and the business card – she took action and followed the signs of the Universe with perfect results.
As you develop your awareness of your own energy and state, and how you interact with the energy all around you, you will see more and more coincidences in your life. However, as we saw with Ami, it is what you DO once you recognise these coincidences that intensifies or dissipates the vibration of your attraction. The Universe will send you answers, not necessarily in the form of a direct response to your thought, but often more like parts of a map. As you recognise each step, the map leads you on to where your full manifestation appears.
The process of creation now looks like this:
1. Thought released
2. Intuition sparked
3. Coincidences recognised
4. Actions taken (resultant synchronicity)
5. Manifestation
Raising vibrational energy around you
By raising your own vibration, you will not only see changes in your own attitude, state and nature, but you will also notice that those around you will begin to be affected too.
Positive energy radiates outwards and as, the dominant energy force, will raise any lower-energy vibration in its vicinity. By staying grounded and raising your own energy levels, it automatically follows that those who come in contact with you will also feel good, as their own energy vibration rises to match yours.
It will also attract the positive in any situation you find yourself in, which is why conscious creating is such an empowering state of being.
Get out there and live
Your role in this life is to live, love and fill your mind, body and spirit with as many positive experiences as possible.
Yes, manifesting your desires and dreams is all part of the life experience, but no matter what it is you desire to attract, you will never get it all done…not in this lifetime or ten lifetimes. Once you manifest your greatest wish, another desire / dream will come along to fill your thoughts. In accordance with the expanding nature of Universal Energy, it is also in YOUR nature to expand, constantly recreating the cycle of love and happiness you experience when manifesting your desires.
So your role in the Universal expansion and growth is to connect to your Inner Self, acknowledge what an amazing, unique person you really are, understand that you can create and attract everything you desire….then get out there and live!
By tuning into the flow of Universal Energy, you will open your eyes to wondrous, uplifting examples of the Universe breathing all around you. You will see the truly amazing flow and interaction of energy between plants, elements and humans.
ACTIONS OF THE WEEK
1. Express your thoughts visually
Start to create the visual expression of your thought process. Begin a vision board or gratitude wall expressing all the elements of your desires. Whether it is a new job, car, house or more money, visualise in pictures and words as if you already have what you desire.
2. Affirm your desires and de-clutter your mind
Take time to create some powerful affirmations that will immediately connect you with your subconscious desires. Bring in some personal affirmations, such as “I love and forgive myself” or “I now consciously create my reality”.
Blow away those self-limiting beliefs and take on new words for the new you. Write them as a positive sentence and in the now.
3. De-clutter your life
Take a deep breath and go through every room and clear out old or unused items. Hold the view that if you haven’t used something for a year, you don’t need it. Then give the rooms a really good clean, including the walls. You will immediately feel the difference.
4. Read the signs
Start looking for the Universal signs. Use this as a fun exercise – think of something small like a song you haven’t heard for ages. Keep putting it in your mind and watch for the coincidences to happen.
Well done! You will see through these modules just how much care is needed to bring together your thoughts and actions with the intention of manifesting your desires. Don’t worry if it seems a lot to take in. By regularly working through the modules, you will gradually find is easier to raise your vibrations and to recognise how to read your energies through your emotions.
The power is within you to create amazing experiences. By putting into practice what you have learned in these modules, you will quickly become aware of the changes this makes to your life and will have more confidence to continue creating your magnificent reality.
