I was "Most Likely to Succeed"

At college, I shone, I was the “girl most likely to succeed”. I did well in my exams and had loads of friends. But lately I’ve lost all my confidence. I’ve been in the same dead-end job for two years, while friends who didn’t do nearly as well as me academically are doing really well in their careers.
I can’t understand why I’ve let myself down so badly.

First off, stop judging yourself by the standards of others. Forget about what others have achieved and start focusing on what it is you really want. Obviously it is not what you are doing now.
It's up to you - you can be whoever you want to be.
Your character, your personality and future are all in your hands to shape and fashion as you wish. If there are things you don't like about yourself, start doing something about it. If your job's getting you down, look for one which suits you better.
Get excited about life again, and never, ever give up on yourself.
