Desires & Prophecies

“Our desires are predictions of what we are capable of achieving .”

If this were true, what would that mean for you? If Goethe is right – that your desires are prophecies of your capabilities – are you on the right path? Are you on track to express and fulfil those desires?

If yes, then you are likely to feel you are on purpose, living a life in accordance with your true self. You may even feel you are in touch with your calling, your vocation in life.

You are likely to live with more passion and enthusiasm than the average person. Lucky you!

If you’re not in this fabulous club, why not? Do you know what those deepest desires are? Have you decided they are “unrealistic”?

Could you have been taught to dismiss desires and dreams as unrealistic in favour of a more mundane, conventional, well-trodden path?

To become a person of your own design, to fulfil your own desires and potential – this is the real challenge. If you are a parent, allowing your children to find and walk their own path may well be your greatest challenge.

Rediscovering those early desires and dreams may be the key to your ultimate fulfilment.
