Holidays with Meaning

A meaningful holidayA holiday can be many things – a chance to experience new adventures, to rest and recharge – or, occasionally, it can completely transform your life.

One holiday that my brother Brian took recently transformed his life, as well as the lives of hundreds of people in The Gambia.

You may remember that when he and his partner Pamela saw the way the villagers of Bafaluto lived they had to get involved, and just 2 years later they’ve transformed the village with clean drinking water, and a thriving market garden business.

Brian and Pamela are now working on the next eight villages – and all because of a holiday! If you’d like to support them then click here to send them a donation via their charity, People In Need Gambia.

This may be an extreme example of the impact a holiday had, but you will want your own holiday to impact your life for the better.
